Vista Upgrade and ModusLink
I recently went online to upgrade my XP to Vista on my laptop, it's a deal because I bought it late last year and it's a cheap upgrade.
Moduslink are responsible for the upgrades and the payments.
Like I say I went to their website the other day to upgrade, filled in the details and gave them my CC details (site was secure). Since then I have
had at least 2 unauthorised debits from my CC.
I have been in touch with my CC company who have cancelled the card and they want me to call back in a couple of days when the transactions appear on
my statement so I can 'contest' them.
I haven't used my CC since 29th Dec last year so it must have something to do with this company no?
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else is upgrading to Vista in this way and have had the same problem?
