Classic movie, seriously balls-out driving, it's available out there to download in better quality.
Search your favourite torrent site for "Climb Dance"

Love is like a snowmobile, speeding across the frozen tundra.
Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...

It won lots of awards I think from deciphering the french at the beginning.
Great video, some amazing shots and camera footage for the time and great music too.

I drove it about three years ago. Couldn't make it to the top, though. Everybody in the car was getting sick from lack of oxygen.
I have an uncle who drove to the top twice, about 20 years apart, as part of an exhibition run. He drove the same car both times, a 1911 Oldsmobile
steam car.

Ahh, the great Ari Vataanen driving the Peugeot 405 T16
I reckon that'd go in a seven
Spartan interior (why do motorsport teams like black so much?)
Apparrently, he was on an early-morning recce run when that was filmed, hence him having the low sun in his eyes and having to take a hand off the
wheel from time to time to shade them from the sun, whilst he was at speed!
Once can only assume he wasn't going balls-out either as it was only a recce run
As I understand it, forced-induction cars are ideally suited to Pikes Peak as they don't lose out to the thin air as much as atmo cars do.
Lots more nice pics here
