Anyone out there using batch DWG to PDF convertor?
We have thousands of AutoCAD drawings at work that need converting to PDF so non engineering types can view them.
I know you can get plenty of DWG to PDF programs with download trials but are they any good? We tried one called Amethyst DWG-2-DWF, which was close
but each drawing has to be opened (in their viewer) and zoomed to extents otherwise we ended up with an A5ish image on an A4 sized sheet.
We would like to batch convert loads at a time and for the PDF to look as good as our drawing would - with nothing more than selecting a load of files
and pressing start.
Anyone out there with any experience or recommendations of a good one? We dont mind buying one as long as it works as we want it, if it did it would
pay for itself in one day.

AutoCAD 2007 onwards has a pdf maker in the plot menu, before we upgraded I think we were using ACAD Pro to convert dwg to pdf, worked ok for us!

Can you not batch plot to DWF and then download the free viewer from Autodesk. The dwf file will automatically download the viewer for anyone without
the viewer install on the machine. Download only takes a few mins
