clearing my PC

hi

anyone know any good programs that will clear my laptop up a bit it should be really quick but if I clear the history and delete some programs it runs quick for a while

I have so many program pop ups when the computer starts

like all the crap the BT phonehub cd installed that I dont need

Use regcleaner to get rid of programs from the startup list, do this first. I also use it to uninstall things with:
Clicky


Then run Crap Cleaner, it removes all the old temp files, and will clear out old and broken registry links too. Makes a hell of a difference:

Flak, are those programs any better than the bog standard windows 'system cleanup' one?

CCleaner is infinately better than windows clean up. It'll even wipe your index.dat files for you.

Windows clean up also doesnt clear out your registry. It only does your temp files.
