Cheekly Little Tw*t
Just been in my kitchen having my head shaved when some little scrote ran from my backgarden with a bag.
Gave chase for about 1 mile in the pissing rain with a half shaved head but couldn't catch the sod.
He dropped his bag though with a load of copper pipes that he'd obviously had from somewhere else.
He must have been looking round my backgarden as well as it's a building site at the moment.
Wish I'd caught the sod.
My sis in law followed in her car and knows where he lives and his name.
His little sister has just walked down are road, obviously looking for his bag! I confronted her and told her to tell her brother I know who he is and
where he lives.
Do I call the cops or weigh in the copper?

Given that he's not nicked anything of yours (although he was looking), violence seems a bit much. Do you know where he whipped the pipes from?
If so, would telling the owner/site manager/whoever bring things to a suitable conclusion?

Weigh in the copper then tell him how many pints you managed to buy with the money when you see him next.
Copper prices are good at the moment for sellers.

Mind you don't set yourself up for a 'handling stolen goods' charge.

great! make him realise that crime does pay!
Id call the cops just to log the crime, tell them he was snooping about and dropped a bag of copper. If someone reports it stolen (unlikely i know)
they can at least tell his parents, if no one claims the copper its yours anyway - and lets be frank, a few copper pipes is a pint if you're
lucky.

Reminds me of a time a few years back. We were on the mother-in-laws farm and I saw some teenagers rummaging round outside, so I let the dogs out
I jumped on the quad bike (which just happened to be outside the door with the key in) and gave chase. By the time I caught the little cu#ts they
were crying like a bunch of girls, Funny. My mother in law never had trouble with the thiefs again
Just put a nasty face on and scare the little git...

The sight of a man with a half-shaved head chasing after him must have given his bowels a good work-out!

And a good chase!
He's only an early teen.
It wasn't a small bag of copper, maybe 8kg ish and it's currently at £2 per kg so think I'll definately weight it in.
Shame I couldn't catch up to him - it was on a rugby field and I'd of loved to tackle him.
Seen him at Court a few times so may have to go and sit next to him on the concourse next time he's in ;-)
I'll sleep tonight!

Got £2.40 / kg last time I weighed some in (Morley Waste Traders in sunny Dewsbury), so your 8kg's is worth having.

Problem with people like him is they often rip out live pipework leaving water to ruin the building. They're even stupid enough to do it with
gas supplies!!
I think you should use the copper to create him a stylish and locost exhaust pipe. Parp!

Mate of mine in Sheffiled caught some teenagers trying to break in to his car, they had already broken the door lock. he chased them up the road and
one tripped over and banged his head. The police wouldn't touch the lads but my mate got done for assault because was chasing him - even though
they acknowledged that he didn't physically attack the lad!
conclusion - this society has gone mental!
