Can't see images in emails
Have been using btinternet on line mail for my emails on my new laptop and have just set up Outlook Express but the emails i get from ebay and alike
that are rich with images don't show, just box's with the little red cross in the corner. Any idea where o go to fix this? I can't
find anything in the options unless i have gone blind again!
thanks
Andy

I think by default, Outlook doesn't download the images as a security/privacy measure. You can usually right click on one of the missing images
and select the download images option (assuming you're still online).

I think in Options under Read there is a box 'read all messages in plain text' - if that's checked that might have the effect you
are experiencing....
HTH
Mark
oh and under 'security' there is a 'block images in HTML email' box to uncheck too

BINGO Thanks Mark. It was the Block images in the security tab. All fixed now.
Cheers
