Vista and XP Network Problems

Hi All

I've got a new laptop running Vista and two existing PCs on XP. It's all running OK on my Orange Livebox and I have access to email and the web on all three.

I can access files from one XP machine to another but can't see anything from the Vista machine or anything on the Vista machine from the XP ones. I've installed LLTD on the two XP machines and they show up in the Network Map.

Anybody understand this (cos I certainly don't!!)

Regards

Wyn

turn off the vista firewall and try again

Cheers

I should probably add to that, network sharing in the control panel, allows you to switch sharing on (including net discovery) if not already

I had Norton Personal Firewall running on the Vista laptop so I've turned that off and can see one of the other machines!
