Lap-top, any good?

Hi all, i have been offered a Toshiba L30 lap-top from a friend who has just upgraded, Is this any good?, I don't know much about PC's and even less about lap-tops. They want £200 for it, is this a reasonable price?
Cheers.

That's as maybe, but you just learned a great deal about your 'friend'.

ie: £199.99 new, £200.00 s/hand!

Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

I suspect they spent a lot more on it a while back and hopefully thought they were giving you a good deal - I'd be polite and offer them £120 and agree at £150.

Sadly that's the trouble with computers you buy one and 6mo later it's worth next to nothing.
