Converting MP4 to DVD format

Hi all,

Doies anyone know of a way to convert an MP4 file into a format that'll play through a DVD player?

just been looking for you.

non of the programs i have will work with MP4's..

quicktime will play it, but thats all.
unless you have quicktime Pro..that mightbe able to export/convert it to a useable file.

edited to add.

if you do a web search for "free mp4 converter" loads pop up, not used any myself so cant vouch for any.

im sure someone on here has though.

If you use Nero for burning disks, it's quite clever at converting stuff so it'll fit perfectly on a DVD etc. dunno about MP4 but if you already have it installed...

I use MOV converter from Boilsoft http://www.boilsoft.com
The quality on a tv screen isn't that great but still watchable. They do a free trial which prints a watermark on the output video but gives you a chance to try it before parting with your hared earned. Full version costs $29.95
