dohc advice requested

have a 2.0 dohc 16v which came out of a scorpio there seems to be quite a few differences between this and the 8v (stating the obvious) is it worth using this engine or should i just got straight to a zetec? when everything is stripped off it It dont seem to be that heavy !! and yes the crank is in there

Very expensive to rebuild and not much tuning available for them.

You may be able to pick up a zetec for the price of a set of gaskets for the dohc!

As above but whats your budget ?

If you are doing a budget build then use the budget engine.

Sort of wished I had, atleast I would be driving it with the option of winter upgrades.

I got three of them on the go and this one was going to be a seller to finance the other two! but for the sake of £100 may be worth just going with a zetec!!
