Restoring operating system and software
Am getting new laptop with Vista and Dealer installed Office Professional - Is there any way to save the setup and software so it can be restored if
there is a fault without going back to the dealer to reinstall MS Office?

I had to restore my own laptop yesterday and did it with the recovery CD that came with the laptop. Put it right back to where it started and rid me
of a very nasty spyware (SmitFraud)

Get a program call Norton Ghost or it's newer equivalent this will let you mirror hardisks to DVDR etc.
Look for "hiren's Boot CD" on Google think a copy is included on that
Scot's do it better in Kilts.
