How do I - Making a file available to others to download
ok guys how do I put a 4mb zip file on somewhere so someone else can get it. Don't think my e-mail will send that, though I'm going to
send it to myself to check.
any ideas for computer disaster like me to manage???

Got a hotmail account? That will let you send it no problem.

err probably not cos I don't even know what that is 
hmm e-mail says I can send up to 20mb but it crashed when I tried to attach it.
nope didn't work with google mail either grr

its pretty good, although you have to sign up for it now free sign up though
but a hotmail email account will do it. as will any email system actually...
hotmail is restriced to 10mb (and thats a restriction!) any email should do it ok

ahh I see the problem...slightly missread the file size  oops wow thats a zipped file!

yeah I just looked at that site and their limit is 2gb but I can't break that file down, oh bummer stuck. gb's kb's all so confusing

er, how wrong did you read the file size?!
382 MB is wayyyyy less that 2 GB.
1024MB is 1GB (i think)
so you could fit your file in like 5 or 6 times over in their limit.
or has one of us got it wrong again?

Well I did say I was a computer disaster...
Thinking about it…it must be due to beer deprivation, I'll go and rectify that right now before I make another more serious mistake, can't
be too careful

 be careful! don't accidentally perforate you ear drum with the ring pull!
er, but yeah, you're file will definitely go with yousendit
get that drink in you before trying though
