.me domains

Anyone else buy any and get shafted? I bought 2 .me domains when they were released to be told they were available. I bought them, got a receipt etc only to be emailed an hour later saying that they are unavailable

Article about godaddy and .me domains

to top it off I see both the domains I bought listed on this auction site

£19 for 2 years, I got a refund but it's so annoying that I was told they were mine

They'll magically become available again soon but at a surprisingly higher price as there has been 'interest' elsewhere (i.e. show your hand and you'll cook the price).

It's e-gazumping
