Fire Extinguisher

750MC Locost Racing
Hi. Just plumbing in my fire extinguisher. I have a 1.75 litre bottle. From what I can make out this is ok as a minimum, iaw the blue book. Could someone please reasure me this is correct. Do other racers use this size? Many thanks. Will defo be doing my first race at Mallory on the 12/10/08 Can't wait!

Hi Samuel,

I've been using a 2.25l plumbed-in Lifeline Clubman kit for a few years in my 205 (and now my Locoblade). I don't have the Blue Book to hand, but I think this may be as small as you can go? Certainly in my circuit racing career to date I can't remember seeing one smaller...

May not be the answer you want to hear! Try Rally Design for cheap kits - just remember that one day it may save your life (same as a harness/crash helmet), so buy the best you can - and aim the interior nozzle at your b*llocks!

I think you'll find the minimum is 2.25 ltr. yes rally design is best place to buy.
