Sound problem
I've set up a new restricted user on a home PC and have attached a new set of speakers. When I use my admin account it all works fine, but when
I switch to the other account (by logging off) and it fires up I get a small box in the middle of the screen that says 'fAIL' written like
that, and the sound wont work. Everythng else seems fine.
Any ideas? I've cleared everything out of the startup menu except AVG and deleted every unused program. Still wont work.
Any ideas?????

Sorry for the lack of help, sound issues are not fun. I don't have much experience of running limited user accounts so it's hard for me
to suggest anything but obviously it sounds like it is an issue with what is being allowed on your restricted user account if your admin account
manages to access the soundcard.
Think you're on your own though, going to have to trawl through some google searches and techie forums... which I know from experience to be
fun...
At the end of the day though if you don't need the extra user get rid of it, I know there's lots of reasons for having multiple users,
convenience and safety mainly; but windows is poo and it makes a real hash of multiple users and makes everyone's life hard!
