Where can I get these?
Hi, I'm after a few bits and I'm struggling to find some of them...
Oil pressure sender extension hose
I'm fitting a pressure gauge and pressure switch but the sender for the gauge is rather heavy so I want to relocate it on a hose approx 8- 12
inches long. Doesn't have to be male - female. could be male - male as most T's will allow this.
Radiator hoses
I'm running a 893 blade engine a VW polo rad and probably a sierra header tank. Does anyone know of any hoses that are the right shape/size to
fit these or do I have to go samco route?
Fuel T
I need a fuel T piece (or Y) to go from 8mm hose into 2 x 10mm. preferably plastic.
If anyone knows of anywhere I can get any of these parts please let me know as I'm struggling.
Thanks
Mark.

I used some Aeroquip oil pressure hose & fittings from Demon Tweeks. The guy was pretty helpful too.
Only thing I'd suggest - make sure you use a heat gun & oil the fittings if you use push-fit fittings. They're awkward little
blighters!

Hose sizes are very close so no issues here, I cut and welded the top hose outlet on my engine to get a clean run to the rad.
Just used cheap motor factor hose, the bottom hose extends via a bit of 28mm copper tube and a 90 degree bend to get to the waterpump at the back,
Should really have popped into B&Q for an arial stand but this came to hand for free.
Stuck the rad behind the front wheels for better weight distribution, it makes plumbing much easier and allows me to install inboard suspension at a
later stage without hassle.

For the remote oil tee I would use something like the John Guest 4mm push in fittings and nylon hose. Its light weight and ideal for oil fittings:

http://www.johnguest.com/part_spec.asp?s=LM01_P2
Its really cheap and available from most hydraulics specialists.
As for using plastic tee's for fuel, I would have thought its just a bit dodgy as the plastic will probably degrade leading to failure and a big
fireball. Try a steel push on low pressure tee like these:

You should be able to squeeze the 8mm hose over the 10mm end. They are cheap and its a proper job.
I think easiest way to plumb a Polo radiator to a Blade is to use spiral wound 25mm silicone straights, a couple of 28-25 reducers, 25mmx 90 degree
elbows, some 25mm joiners and you made need a small tee but im not sure.
Its seems expensive but really easy to get a nice finish compared to using loads of elbows, clips and joiners, its also less to go wrong.

Have a look into it as there are loads of suppliers offering these sorts of parts. I would always choose quality over quantity as these are some of
the most important parts of your car, they keep you of your engine alive.
