Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a car soon and wondered if there were any people toying with the idea but haven't advertised, that might reply to a thread like this. I've sent a couple of U2U's on cars mentioned in earlier threads which I plan to follow up / make some calls about over the next day or so.

I'd prefer to keep it below £7,500 but I'm fairly open in terms of type. I would like to get back into track days (previously had an Exige which I really enjoyed on track) and for some sunny weather runs. The only real ask is for reasonable performance, which essentially rules out anything pinto / x-flow powered I'd imagine. I'm not too worried about aesthetics but would prefer something that didn't have too many gremlins...

So, over to you.

i have an Avon coming up for sale soon (very well known on here).

Thread shows an engine with 260hp which is no longer in the car.

Extensively modified to get the best handling, (widetrack and antiroll bars fitted etc.)

It will have a standard Vauxhall XE engine(177bhp) running Weber Alpha throttle bodies and Emerald ecu

Engine recently rebuilt by Northanpton Motorsport (£5k bills to prove)

Bespoke Tony Law exhaust (£500)

Looking for £7k

Hi all, thanks very much for everyone that's been in touch.

I'm still talking to a few of you (thanks for your patience) but I've managed to stretch the budget a little, and wanted to see if this introduced any other cars that *might* be for sale? Perhaps up to £9.5k (for the right car).
