That is stunning - especially the view from the cameras on the bits that were left behind (boosters and fuel tank) showing the shuttle continuing without them...
It's rocket science.

I think those camera's are new ones that have been put on to spot any damage to the underside (after the foam block disaster).
I was impressed the camera on the booster survived going up, coming back down and got even got some shots of the sea (around 9:50).
Does the main tank burn up or just float about....

I believe it burns up, Might leave enough fuel in it to give a little more heat.
Im really surprised how fast it actually jumps off the platform... and how much it wobbles back and forth when the engines have started but its still
on the platform. Must be a good few metres at the nose of the tank....
