How is it possible for a truck driver to not be aware of pushing a car along sideways at 55mph down a motorway? Surely there would be been a bit of a
bump at the very least?
He should have joined the AA, they'd have towed him off the right way round.
Something very similar happened in Melbourne a fortnight ago. I can't find the story on the web anymore but the pictures are still up -
http://www.3aw.com.au/truck_monash_freeway. When the Emergency Services turned up their first
question was "Where are the bodies?".
From memory, the truck clipped the back corner of the Elfin, flipping it around in front and then pushing it 150m down the freeway until it eventually
ran over the engine compartment! The driver and passenger walked away although the driver apparently had a friction burn to his forehead from the
truck's tyre
He's already placed an order with Elfin for a new one
