Time to kill the Three Word Story
zilspeed - 27/5/05 at 04:24 PM

It's turned into a monster.
Can we just lock the thread or something ?

Failing that, I can delete the original post and it will all just disappear.
We all know it's a colossal waste of time.
Maybe if DaveFJ could do that thing he does with putting it all together first it could be vapourised afterwards.
Let the people's court decide. Personally, I'm all for giving it the Spanish Archer
(El Beau)

Hellfire - 27/5/05 at 04:53 PM

I tried to keep up with it at first but now I don't even bother looking at it. Kill, kill, kill, kill.

Then get DaveFJ to do his stuff and we'll all chip in and get it published...........

gazza285 - 27/5/05 at 04:56 PM

Time to reap what you've sown eh?

zilspeed - 27/5/05 at 05:11 PM

Indeed.

JoelP - 27/5/05 at 06:14 PM

im sick of it, but it would be a shame to see all that hard bolloxs go to waste

ive given up reading it though...

Jon Ison - 27/5/05 at 06:36 PM

JoelP - 27/5/05 at 07:14 PM

big brover jon, you know it makes sense starts tonight

mangogrooveworkshop - 27/5/05 at 07:14 PM

kill

zenarcher - 27/5/05 at 08:08 PM

I like it,sometimes it's funny, it's always creative and inventive, it is not doing any harm.
When we all get pissed off with it then it will just wither on the vine so to speak.

Cita - 27/5/05 at 08:29 PM

Keep it!!!
If only for beating that stupid Cateringvan thread for the most viewed one

andkilde - 27/5/05 at 09:17 PM

Stay it must

said Yoda...

OX - 27/5/05 at 09:29 PM

why would any one want it locked or deleted,if you dont like it ffs dont read it

David Jenkins - 27/5/05 at 09:37 PM

Trouble is, you see a flag that indicates that there's something new in Mad House - you open it, and see that it's that soddin' 3-word story again!

DJ

OX - 27/5/05 at 10:51 PM

yip but i see that with a lot of subjects that im not intrested about but i dont want them deleted

stephen_gusterson - 27/5/05 at 11:46 PM

strange.

no one thought that posting 'near the mark' jokes and stuff was an issue (at least the majority didnt) but a simple story gets a threat of censorship.

i vote keep it.

David Jenkins - 28/5/05 at 05:46 AM

I prefer my original idea - a flag that says that there's something other than '3-word story' or 'best aircraft' in Mad House!

David

zilspeed - 28/5/05 at 01:43 PM

Ignore it seems to be the best option - I'm sure it'll slowly wither and die.

Make that "I hope it does".

Scotty - 28/5/05 at 01:49 PM

let it grow and procreate, today the forum, tomorrow the world !!!
ahhhaaahahah !!!!!

(yes i' m at work and bored)

Scotty - 28/5/05 at 01:50 PM

BTW in the poll, are you allowed to vote 3 times ???

zilspeed - 28/5/05 at 02:01 PM

I dunno....

Hopefuly the original thread will be swallowed in a whole glut of new and genuinely funny postings in this section

John F - Progenitor of and now apologist for the "three word story"...

Scotty - 28/5/05 at 02:35 PM

that will be nice - and a first too !!

bob - 28/5/05 at 02:56 PM

keep it

clbarclay - 29/5/05 at 01:50 PM

You can kill the revolutionary but you can never kill the revolution. You kill the first and two more will take its place.

Alternatively ignore it and it will go away.

zilspeed - 29/5/05 at 02:03 PM

Aye - you're probably right.

Maybe we could tempt ChrisW into creating a special section for it - all of it's own.

A kind of strange little room that only the truly sad ever visit. That would give the madhouse back to the masses....

clbarclay - 29/5/05 at 05:04 PM

Save the mad house for the true nut cases, and make a new section 'half-way-house' for the rest of us still recovering.
