At my sons work this week a Rover came in for an estimate on some work but being M reg it was an unneconomical repair so a recovery truck was ordered
to take it back to the owner.Truck duly arrives and calls in at reception and asks for keys to the Rover he has to collect, receptioist gives him the
keys and off he go,s.
Ten minutes later a recovery truck arrives to pick up a Rover,"but you,ve already taken it " says the receptionist,"no" he says
your getting me confused with the scrap man who,s just gone down the road
End of story. Customer arrives with press in tow lods of photo,s and an impending law suit.Car was returned with 4 flat tyres, crushed bonnet and bent
doors and roof.
