skydiving isnt dangerous. you have more chance of having an accident driving in the car on the way to the drop zone than having an accident skydiving. skydiving used to be dangerous back in the 60's and 70's but technology and times move on. sure there are inherent dangers in skydiving but they dont come as any surprise and are all accounted for. e.g. your parachute dosent open........you are taught and memorise safety drills in the event of a malfunction and you always have a reserve parachute, with aad (automatic activiation device) RSL and also the reserve ripcord.


anyway what the blokes doing in the video is crazy

it also helps that skydiving is one of the most controled if not the most controled sports in the world.

The training involved is pretty extensive

I liked the sonic the hedgehog helmet.

Just noticed his accent sounded familiar, that and the suomi label mean he's going to be Finnish. The whole video now fails to suprise me

All that was missing was the superman cape!

With skydiving it's never one thing that kills you , it's always a combination of things . More people drop dead on golf courses than die skydiving . Mind you I did break my leg but had done 230 jumps then . Made me more careful after that
