Well it's obviously some kind of funky power supply (the patent is for a current/temperature controlled fan). It's 240v ac in, 50v ac
15amps out.
The manufacturer is here http://www.divcon.net/
Seem to make locks and industrial enclosures so no real hints as to the purpose. But it looks most like the equipment on the wireless/wire line
enclosures page (whatever that does).
They also make cable TV stuff, which is probably what the cable is for (assuming you got it from the same place).
Temperature and current dependent regulated voltage source
adam
might be cctv cable...
What you have is a catv ups power supply 60v ac with about 16amps reliable supply (@18 the smoke leaks out) short circuit protected and puts out a
quasi square wave. It also has a input for 36v or 48v dv batteries for provinding up to 2-3 hours on mains outage.
The other cable you have is a catv siamese for cable rf and telco on the two pair.....
I know nothing about this stuff ......
best you can do is weigh it in for scrap.
theres only two companys that use these btw
