got an orange n80 from a cousine, its locked and other sims not working..

it was on contract and its over now, and as i dont reside in uk hence handset is not in uk...

how can i get it unlocked?

There are lots of unlock sites, some cost £5 and there are tutorials how to do it.

& make sure you always carry a spare battery!!
I sent mine back after I was always getting less than 24hrs on a charge

It is an amazing phone though.
They seem to have cracked the battery prob. with the E65 I have now

Some of the N Series can't be unlocked and are set to the airtime provider - I know my last three (N83, 85 and 95) are all unlockable and stuck to Vodaphone.

or can i call orange and ask them for the code, because legally i own hte cell phone as the contract is over...??

by the way if my cousine can get hold of the unlocking code by orange, can it be used an unlocked abroad??

my cousine has managed to get the code from orange (THEY CHARGED 20 POUNDS FOR IT, WILL COME VIA POST AND WILL TKAE A WEEK)
.now the question is will i be able to unlock it outsite uk or the cell phone has to be in uk
