Please don't laugh

The car I bought recently has a hands-free phone installation and I found my ancient Nokia 5146 cellphone works with it. I've lost the manual for the phone of course. Can anyone remember how to turn on and off the keypad lock so I don't call 999 when I'm indulging in vigourous exercise (as if ) ?

Being a Nokia, it'll probably be <some key or other> follwed rapidly by the * key. I'd start with either the up or down arrow, then menu, then the C key (doubt if it's that one).

Otherwise, give the on-off button a quick push and see if a menu comes up.

yup press the middle button (with the - on it) and then start

That's gonna do some serious damage to the power to weight ratio!!

Wont stop you dialling 999 though, you can still do that with the keypad locked (at least you can on every phone I've ever had).

Legal, or at least required to be GSM compliant, IIRC. 112 also works (as does 911 and 080 on the Canadian GSM phones I've tried).
