1979 2 litre Pinto I'm in the process of rebuilding is now in bits and the clean & measure has started
One question though, Has anybody removed the ball bearing that sits at the end of the oilway at the rear of the engine block ?
I've removed the tiny core plug that allows access to it, but I'm not sure if it comes out of the rear or the front ?
Pretty sure you smack it from the front with a length of 1/4" solid bar and it pops out of the rear
But just incase there might be somebody out there who has done this I thought I'd ask...
I haven't done this but try Turbosports forum
All you need to ask will be answered
Yes. out of the rear!
Thanks for that
Confirmed on Turbosport forum
Knock it out the back and then smack the new one in from the rear
I got a big hammer so should be fine
Don't ram it in from the rear! just gently not to hard, think what your doing.
