Anyone know the difference between a type 9 Gearbox from a Capri from a Sierra, I just need one for my K series?

search some of my threads on here. I had to use a type 9 from a v6. either sierra or capri will do. you then have to cut 13mm or so off the input shaft. Also depends which k you have 1.4 1.6 or 1.8.

Let me know if you have specific questions as getting it wrong is costly.....i learnt the hard way

Caterham bell housing spacer is 30mm and could eaisily be cut down to fit, easier than cutting the input shaft and leaves the box intact and easier to swap out in the future. V6 box has better ratios.
