sky+ box hard drive
My sky+ box's hard drive will not stop whirring away when we turn it off with the remote or the switch on the box itself. Only way to get it to
stop is to switch off the mains power.
It's been fine up till last week, now it won't turn off properly.
Is this normal?
The box is only 8 months old.
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

This happens to some boxes when it downloads a firmware update, Sky don't seem capable of doing much in the way of pre-release testing at the
moment, they keep releasing duff firmware and breaking boxes
Some people have reported it stopping after a couple of days, others have had new boxes...
