Email from Westfield
Got this emailed to me supposedly from Westfield (could be spam, I could have put my email in there somewhere)
Dear Sir
Please find attached the last 'Special Offer' for 2011.
If you are considering purchasing either a factory built car or a kit within the next six months, - Don’t delay call the Sales Team today!
Along with a pdf stating that all purchases are 10% off until the end of october (that's not 6 months!)
"What the heck" I thought and had a look (I didn't click any links!)
They have a "Indroductory kit" for £2500 which is the donor kit (thus minus mx5 bits) without the bodywork.
I'm now wondering if that's a good way for my tight budget to go (either with them or another recommended kit maker) as I'm sure I
could get a running MX5 for £500 and body parts can come later (also saving me space )
Or would someone pull me away by my collar telling me not to be silly?

Well the offer is on the front of their website as well
http://www.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/
Seems like a reasonable offer to me given it's pretty comprehensive (minus the bodywork) and includes VAT.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

The resale value for Westfields are generally higher than some of the newer arrivals to the scene.
Worth factoring into your calculations.

I've only ever sold one running car, it was a 1987 Sunny... Paid £150 and got £200 part ex.. Nice car too I'd have another. Point is
I'd only sell it if it was either a heap o' crud/cream crackered or I came into a lot of money
I'm persuming they're a good company for details like "getting it to my house" and "not effing me about" I'm
wondering if there's any other recommendations/directions I could take?

The 10% off offer (did that make sense?) is genuine.
I know this because I've just put my deposite down on one of their Westerfield XI's
Yeah yeah it aint exactly 'locost' I know. Me bad person ... but it's just SOOOOO very pretty
They don't look like they will mess you about "getting it to my house" as they don't do a delivery service
Yeah I was a bit shocked at that one.
But they do tell you what sized Van you'll need to collect it in.

I reckon that the Road Runner bodywork would possibly fit that
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone
