From a 4 pot
OMG!!!
Andy
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Thick billet alloy block with no oil or water passages explains how those turbos don't grenade it. Impressive, but only good for a 1/4 mile run
Makes 100bhp per litre look pretty sick

Is it me, or is that Mike from American Hotrod sat in the driver's seat?

Would you feel safe in a car, that in a front end smash, has nothing to stop a wave of alcohol & methanol washing over the driver, after very
handily possibly being ignited on its way past the engine??
surely the fuel tanks could have been better placed?
ie. more weight over the rear wheels

sounds impressive, thats 833hp/litre. but then again 80's F1 turbo's were running anywhere between 650 and 800hp/litre for race distance.

that in a front end smash, has nothing
It's a dragster...... What's it going to hit? There's nothing coming the other way.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Its not uncommon for a dragster to slew sideways & impact the side safety walls head on .

So it wouldn't be better or worse than other top-fuel dragster in that case possibly slightly better since the engine will be stronger). IIRC
they all have their fuel tanks at the front. The design has been honed by the rules so I presume their don't need/want/aren't allowed more
weight over the rear wheels.
Now if a jet car's turbine fan disintegrated I dread to think what would happen to the crowd
