I found this article/add in a copy of the Daily Mirror from January 2nd 1924.
Made me laugh.

I have a jar which I unearthed one day while digging. It contained something called Virol which it says is a preparation of bone marrow, an ideal fat food for children and invalids. They didn't worry about crap like hardening of the arteries and stuff like that in those days.
