track your mates
Try tracking your mates with this demo version of a gps tracker for mobile phone numbers, it does work quite scary really

Well bugger me
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

ha ha. this kind of technology is available though, went to a briefing last week, if the phone is gps equipped you can see where it is within about 10
metres, if you do it from the cell ID the accuracy depends on the number of phone masts in the area and how great the area covered by each mast is but
can get as close as 500 feet in densley populated areas. in the UK you must get permission of the person you wish to locate first. scary stuff though

What if it's a works mobile do they still have to tell you if there tracking you
I know for a fact that my boss put trackers on the vans in work 3 weeks before he told the lads!!!

vehical tracking is different, because its a stand alone gps device, with phones you will get a confirmation message asking if you give consent, which
you can turn off at any time, you will not know when your mobile is actually being "pinged" though.
