If it was properly tanked a tiny leak from the top would have easily filled it over 50 years.
More to the point, why did they bury the tranquillisers?

Oh c'mon guys. I reckon they took sensible precautions. At least the engine will be OK as its had some tin foil placed over the top!!!!!
Have they never heard of pond liner??? or tanking???? Maybe if they had covered it in waxoyl it would have been OK.
It wont take Boyd long to get it sorted, i wonder if he will put billet 20" alloys on it
