UFO hits wind turbine
Morning all
Saw this on the front page of he Sun this morning. Had to laugh at the classic Sun headline of "E.T harm farm"
Weird bit is though that as well as the mangled blade still attached the other blade that came clean off and is 65ft long is nowhere to be found in
the vicinity.
What's everyones thoughts on it? makes a change to the Credit Crunch

Going over-speed and throwing a blade is a more likely reason! The thing's probably 800 metres away in the shrubbery...

Likely explanation is that the turbine failed in some way. Got too fast (hence balls of fire and strange octopus tentacles reaching to the ground).
One bit came off, hit the other and was ejected some distance away to be found later.
Tomorrows headline will be something along the lines of old couple in remote farm house have returned from visitting relatives in America over
Christmas and found house destroyed by 65ft long aliens arm. Luckily tea pot is OK so they can enjoy a cuppa while accident investigators get to work.

The UFO people seem to be talking their typical twaddle.

This made me actually laugh out loud.
An advanced Alien race
Aware of our existence
Capable of interstellar travel
The spacecraft have been designed over many years to withstand the earths atmospheric conditions.
They really should not have let a woman drive! As if they would just crash into a wind turbine..
*sh*t, I knew I should have looked in my blind spot, that HUGE white spinning thing just came out of nowhere*

Quite possible looking at this video of a turbine that's brake failed, didn't realise they were quite so spectacular.
