So you tell me: holiday in UK next year?
After being to France for several years maybe we want to go abroad.
So where to go?
My wife and kids need some sunshine so...
Please feel free to correct my bad English, i'm still learning. Your Dutch is awfull! :-)

Admittedly, my experience is limited to about a dozen visits, but UK weather is very much like Dutch weather: it can rain anytime. How about Italy -
anywhere from Rome to the north.

I would like to see Cornwall, Stonehenge, st Michaels mount etc.
this year it was 37 degree in France, so going for a walk in the mountains wasn't there.
there must something to see, you live there....

I live within yards of St Michaels Mount, come early in the year for the good weather, March to June is generally best due to global wrming. Too much
energy in the weather systems in July and August. (I did 1200 miles this year until july and 9 until yesterday when I did 120)
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

We've just come back from Puerto Pollenca, up in the north of Mallorca.
Now, it was perfectly hot and sunny all week, and the location is lovely, BUT, bloody hell does it feel expensive there now. £15-30 each to eat out at
night, and as usual Spanish food is only average and most of the restaurants are half empty, all the (miserable) locals was complaining about the lack
of Brits there.
The Euro has made much of Europe like this now, where as before you'd go out and eat and not really think about the price too much, now you have
to hunt around looking for the cheaper places. I'll wait to see what the Euro is doing next summer before booking anything.
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

Go to the South West then, if these are the things you want to see. They have the warmest winters of all the UK, the South East has the warmest
summers. It can rain anywhere at any time.
Wales or Cumbria have scenic mountains, or the west of Scotland. You see lots of cars with Netherlands plates in Wales in the summer, just to see
mountains.
The south west, west wales, cumbria and western scotland are the best tourist places in the UK, in my opinion.
