Just got in from a spa day near Birmingham, to find a fkin CHICKEN in the garden?? - Yes, a LIVE one too!
Spoke to the RSPCA, and they said well, if youre happy to keep it, build a coop, and put it away at night!
So, we gained an unexpected household pet today! The kids will lvoe it!
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Lol, we have chickens. Probably came from a neighbour. They dont usually stray very far from home.
Down side is of the 15 or so we have, 85% are cockrels, noisy buggers!

Ha ha! Halarious
Well at least you got an egg out of it. Hang on - I thought the egg-laying gender wasn't too hot at flying? Or was Chicken Run not an accurate
documentary?

Yeah they flap a lot & dont really fly but it assits the ability to jump a fair bit!
You're better off without it though really, we used to have them on the farm here & they're smelly thing that scrats about & makes
a right mess!

WTF are you doing on a "spa" day near Birmingham? There's only one Spa, and that's on Belgium's only hill.
DO NOT PUT ON KNOB OR BOLLOCKS!

I've just got back from 7 weeks on a remote farm in Wales. They had 30 chickens and about 10 ducks. They are free to roam and had no chicken
houses/coups etc, just a simple shelter for them to lay in, and they haven't lost any to foxes. Neighbouring farms have, and you can hear the
foxes at night.
Reason: all the men on the farm pee around the farm at random locations (no running water for toilets, this place was remote!)
The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.
