Must have been a pritty pore example of a 2cv for falling apart, only last year a 2cv came in in the top ten of a desert rally similare to the
paris-dakkar.
And thats competing agains modern high tech desert racers.

Years ago I welded one up for a friend's brother - what an utter pile of excrement. All rust and thin steel
Saying that, friend borrowed it and overtook a Shogun who got slightly upset and overtook him back, and ended up in a ditch

I think they're kinda cool in a beetle-esque sort of way. They're one of those cars where the build quality/ride/performance doesn't
really matter. If you know what I mean. Maybe I'm just drunk...

What do you mean about the ride. Part of the design breif for the 2cv was for it to be able to drive accros a ploughed field with a creat of eggs on
the back set and for the eggs to have no damage afterwards.
Like the beetle was a car for the masses, the 2cv was a car for french farmers. Both fitted there rolls very well.
As for performance, did you read my earlier post?
In case your woundering, no i don't like 2cv's, I just give credit where credits due.

Alright, I wasn't having a go! I was trying to say I like them! I just said that build quality/ride/performance doesn't really
matter, not that it's bad. It's one of those cars where you wouldn't really care either way, they're still quite
cool.

Hippy cars...
They don't run on unleaded either apparently. Another part of the design brief was that you should be able to sit in one without removing your
top hat .
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Do farmers were top hats in France? What am I saying of course they do...
Fletch,
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy...
