How many colours?

Here's an oddity for this Friday afternoon - roughly how many colours can you see in the picture? You don't have to be too accurate - a guess will do.

I'd say red and green (2). Maybe blue should be in there to make the fruit look less anaemic and barf inducing

According to this site, the picture is made up from a red monochrome image, with a black-and-white overlay - I presume they mean the overlay is in varying shades of black/grey. So, the answer is 1, or maybe 2!
