have you heard his music? he calls it neoclassical rock, though it changes over the years. It is music without bounds.

Malmsteen is a very good musician. The G3 tour has to be the one to see when it come around again. Satriani, Vai and Malmsteen .
However for sheer skill you cant beat Slash and Zakk.
Though I have some awesome videos of Vai playing some awesome tunes (mainly improvised solos)
