rubbish part supplier

I've now been chasing up a release bearing, clutch fork and bolt kit for my RACE bellhousing + Ford gearbox + Vauxhall engine setup from Rally and Competition Equipment in Stoke. The rest of the parts im getting from the very helpful bloke at Yukspeed (friction plate, spigot bush and sump). I could get the other parts from him but am worried they wouldnt fit the RACE part.

Its been five weeks now, initially I waited a week after placing my request for parts, then was asked to ring back in 5 days, then for the last three weeks every 2-3 days. Yesterday the bloke finally suggested the bolts had arrived (which i think is the only sticking point) and that hed ring me back. He hasnt..

How annoying!

Am I right in thinking that these bolts are fairly bespoke fine pitch items that I cant just get from a bolts place in Burton?

not got any bolts with the right thread lying around? It’s going to be metric anyway, if the thread looks finer than a normal pitch then it will be a fine metric

do you see the way I do the bolts on the bellhousing (and the exhaust manifold)...its brilliant as you can use them like long studs but remove them like bolts, the best of both worlds. Works wonders for bolting the engine and gearbox together Rescued attachment 01 belhousing bolts.JPG
