That Roller is great! Really wouldn't fancy doing the ring in the wet in it. Mind you, doubt they were going quick enough to upset the drinks

I think its rubbish! Fait play for having a go at something different, but fo its purpose in advertising a Practical PErformance Car, well..... its
not really matching.
Anything practical about it has been stripped out for saving weight, and its hardly a performer!
IMO of course.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I think they saw 7litre V8 and got a bit over excited by the potential.

When they tried to decide which car to use as a track day car, they went for the most improbable one, just for the larf.

Which is exactly that, but as a cover for PPC, it doesnt really tell the story as it should.

Wonder if they've managed to sort the brakes out yet ? last I read about it the brakes had failed and Rolls Royce brakes aren't the
easiest to sort out, 2 pressure pumps ,2 accumulators , 2 calipers on the front wheels and about 15 bleed nipples all of which probably haven't
been touched since the car was made. And thats without the suspension that works off the same system

They used the Citroen suspension, didn't they?
Very peculiar, works very well if serviced properly, and an absolute nightmare if it goes wrong. It takes a good mechanic who knows about this stuff
to keep it in good order.
(I've owned 2 Citroens with this sort of suspension).

It does if you read PPC, and I imagine the majority of people attending this will be PPC readers...

If this is the one I think it is it has a 27 litre challenger tank engine in it and I know the guy that machined oil drain holes in the pistons.
Broke about a dozen mill bits IIRC
The reason being is the oil never used to drain back on the original engine and end up in the cylinder and burned off. Someone jokingly said
"it does 15 MPG, of oil"
