bad rattle update
after the problems on my trip to stoneleigh, a bad rattle from the gear box, i have had the car out for a drive tonight
the rattle is gone, it would appear to have been the thrust bearing fork being badly adjusted and this has been cured by a capri clutch cable with
built in adaptor.
the oil i used is a bit thicker than the standard spec and this has resulted in a clunky change when cold.
unfortunatley the test drive was limited to 5 miles as there is now an over heating problem. a leak some where, but it is too dark to see now.
