Wet morning.. my car on 888s was utterly useless. I think they mentioned in the breifing Rockingham is quite slippery in the wet? I think that's
a bit of an understatement.
Afternoon was good, and although my car was holding out OK, I think the high temperatures got to me. After only a few laps I was knackered and ready
to come in.

Good lines, so thats what apexes look like… I must start getting to know them, and touching them occasionally.
Cracking lap that
All the mud on the rear of my car was the result of my not so perfect lines in the morning.. I spun on the first session but luckily had forgotton
to switch the camera on. My wet sessions do look like the video above, but in double slow motion!
What a day! Good to meet Wayne, Eddie, and Richard? (Orange striker).
Track was a Skid pan in the morning then a monsoon, back to a skid pan till lunch, when the sun came out and literally change the track. My lap times
dropped from 230 when mildly moist to 1.55s. Even my novice father in law was getting the hang of it.
I decided to take a session with the instructor to see if I was missing anything important round a track that was new to me. Surprisingly there wasnt
much, just ensuring I keep my hands in one place and dont change before a bend to preempt the it, and ensuring i held the brakes into the bend to
keep the balance.
Will upload some vids and pics on Monday.

Was there two silver Clios there? I didn't know which one was you..
I think they may have mentioned the track would be slippery in the breifing ... one or two.. dozen times. It was bad though wasn't it. Anything
less than a full race wet didn't work. Fwd territory?
a couple of vids from me from the morning, another fail on the camera mount. everything i do to try and improve how its mounted seems to make it
worse.

Yeah, there was a phase 1 in what looked like full race trim, cage etc. Mine was the phase 2 with the personal plate (L10GYS).
I made the mistake of thinking I could get the temps into my Avon ZZRs on the green track in the morning, and after the downpour. I probably should
have changed to my standard road tyres but didn't want to tear them up on the drying track as they were brand new.

I wouldn't know what a phase 1 or 2 Clio looked like.. didn't notice any plates either..
I had a wet session barely hanging on to this car?
