Well that was cheap...Insurance
I've just sorted out my Kit insurance, £132 with Adrian Flux.
4000 miles a year inc 2 trackdays...
I had a quote before xmas and it was £260 so i was expecting that. It's insured on the chassis number but seeing as I'm going to have to
get it about for various different things before the IVA date I thought it best to have it insured.

I am with them - after an initial quote £60 higher - I said I would look elsewhere and it then came out at £92 for 3000 miles no track days but I do
have things like windscreen and audio equipment cover (haven't got either though)

Do they let you leave it insured on the chassis number for along as you want?
Had it in my head that's only temporary until it's registered?

When I insured mine ,pre IVA, it was for a limited time. They sent me nagging letters after 6 weeks!

Hi,
Glad we could help out with your insurance. Whilst some of our insurers do require a registration number as soon as possible if the vehicle is insured
on a chassis number the majority of them don't have a time restriction but it in all instances it should be provided to ourselves as soon as
possible though so we can finalise our files.
Regards,
Dan.
