Scratch build
As I am building my car from "scratch" I would like to know if anyone has a cheap source of the material. I've been to the
butcher's and seen "scratchings" which I presume to be the residue from the production of scratch, but he will not confirm this.
When I asked if this was the case he actually told me to p!ss off if I wasn't going to buy anything as he had a queue of customers wanting meat.
I also went to the newsagent where they have scratch cards. I wondered if you have to buy these to get your entitlement of scratch, so I asked how
much scratch one card would get you, but the woman told me to p!ss off as she had a shopfull of people wanting to buy magazines. I may have to give up
on this idea and go back to the original plan and build it from wood. Has anyone got a stick welder I can buy or borrow?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

To do a scratch build you have to get your parts from a flea market...
Sorry, that's a lousy joke...

I thought scratch built meant standing there loking at the plans scratching your head wondering where the hell you start! [img][/img]
