White or Brown Bread????

i was having a lie inyesterday morning when i heard a knock at the door at 09.30. i went down in my dressing gown and opened the door. It was bloody freezing. There were 2 rather nice looking ladies at the door. They said they were doing a survey and would i mind answering a few questions, wont take more than a couple of minutes. I agreed. First question was do i prefer white or brown bread, sliced or crusty loaf? I replied thet i like white sliced. They then kept me there over half an hour in the freezing cold lecturing me about how much better brown is.

Bloody Hovis witnesses!!!

why is brown bread more expensive than white bread?

to make brwon bread you grind the stuff up and bake it.

to make white bread you grind it up., seperate the brown bits out, then bleach it prior to baking so surley the process costs more - yet is it cheaper.

so it is marketing?
