Perfect Burger ideas please???

Hello guys,
As the topic suggests does anyone have a recipe for the "ultimate burger" seeing as were coming into the BBQ season well for the UK anyhow.
Planning on firing her up late april and am getting board of buying stuff in, so if anyone has a concoction that will leave me in a meat induced coma then please let me know

Cheers

John

Sorry - just spotted this - check out Heston Bluementhals recipe for burgers, from memory its, 1/2 chuck steak, 1/4 shin (sinews removed) 1/4 short rib meat.

You need to mince it yourself, the shin needs mincing twice. Mix the cubes together and mince, holding the strands as it comes out the mincer in lines. Build these up till you get all the strands facing the same way in a fat sausage shape. Wrap tightly in cling film and chill.

Take out of fridge and slice into inch thick slices about the size of a quarter pounder. All the meat strands should now be pointing vertically up through the burger (this makes for a super tender collapsing burger).

Take cling film off edge and fry on high and keep turning to crisp the sides but leaving the center pink.

I guarantee you it's the best burger you'll eat.

BTW - Make sure all the beef has been hung for 30days - get the best stuff from a good local butcher.

Here's the actually recipe, I wasn't too far out:
