I was wowed by these pictures, so I thought I'd share.

Not sure if they need to SVA the space station... seem to be loads of sharp edges..

The pictures are clean because there's no dirty atmosphere between the lens and the subject, and NASA spend a bit more then £50 on their digital cameras

It's the North end of the South island of New Zealand.

(i.e. Nelson down to Christchurch)

Agreed 100% - i recognise Nelson and the Cook Straight there. Wellington is just off pic above the shuttle. I'm hoping to emigrate over there and have been looking at Nelson myself so looked at plenty of maps recently
