Any drivers who fancy a team trip one day or other, there are plenty of pubs within range of Stoneleigh.

Marcus
it will be great to see you both again, paul (the bar-b king)beyer will be bringing a LARGE cooking facility with LPG.

We will save a space for you.

bob - 26/4/03 at 07:44 PM

Sorted

But,how the hell can you be crap at bringing food and stuff.
Now you have removed the NOS bottle there's loads of room for a cool box,or you could leave a wallet behind.LOL

Same spot as last year or are we in the camping area for a change ?

bob - 26/4/03 at 08:07 PM

We camped right on the edge of the show last year just behind some of the outside stalls and next to the tiger club.

The proper camping area is over the far side of centre,400yds further to walk to the pub though.

Myself and paul beyer will be there sat afternoon.

Where did you all end up camping last year? Was it at the Locost area?

Also if I come in a normal car would I be allowed in the showground to set up or would I need to get the camping gear shuttled across?

bob - 27/4/03 at 04:02 PM

when you pay to camp it is all in one price,so when your in your in.

The stated camping area is within the show so its nice and easy, although some like to get away from the official camp site as its nice and quiet and family like.

We do tend to stay up and talk rubbish into early am,so you can guess where we camp.

Hello guys,

being a bit of a newbie im would like to go but im wondering how much money its worth taking.

bear in mind im still relitivly early on in my build so would like to buy some bits(fiberglass/dampers) and am wondering how good the deals might be.

will the guys at MK be offering a good discount ??

ChrisW - 29/4/03 at 08:26 AM

Set of dampers will set you back £250-300 for a reasonable set - much the same as the 'shop' price. Fibreglass is a lot more likely to be going cheap as it can be far more easily damaged.

The main 'bargain' part of the shows is that you generally save on delivery. A set of shocks is not a light thing to post!

but you spend more on dirty burgers than the postage anyway!
