I've used CPC before a good few years ago, pretty reasonable as far as I can remember.

its just down the road from me. deffo recommend them. if you can get hold of a catalogue finding stuff is miles easier ( i find their webshite useless ) its about the same thickness as a yellow pages

i saw their ads on TV recently so sent of for the catalogue. I think I've had 6 (all different ones) in the past 3 weeks. Prices and range seem excellent, but not ordered yet.

Very cheap for cables and bulbs when I last used them

Used them often - next day delivery. Watch postage charges but free if order over a certain figure.

Use Farnell a lot with work.

Used CPC last week for home stuff (wiring bits and bobs ). Very good service. Very quick delivery ( by UPS, trackable online)

...but did insist on delivering to cardholders address (home) and not to work.

Tim.

Farnell have been around for over 30 years.
They are an old and established supplier to the trade.

Cant say what they are like now, but 20 years ago they were every bit as good as RS Components is now.
Certainly they only dealt in quality components and not cheapo clones. I cant say if thats still true as I havent used them for a few years.
